This position is fully onsite in downtown Toronto, with a required 5-day in-office schedule.
As the Financial Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the firm. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone detail-oriented and organized, who enjoys working across multiple financial processes in a fast-paced professional services environment. The role will begin with core accounting responsibilities and gradually expand into billing and invoicing.
Manage Accounts Receivable, including tracking incoming payments and following up as needed
Process Accounts Payable, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices
Perform regular bank account reconciliations
Handle foreign associate disbursement processing
Manage employee and firm reimbursements, including receipt tracking and documentation
Maintain accurate financial records and support general bookkeeping
Track receipts, expenses, and reimbursements to ensure accuracy and compliance
Maintain organized financial documentation and records
Support basic financial reporting and provide updates as needed
Gradually take on responsibilities related to client billing and invoicing
Assist with invoice preparation, distribution, and tracking
Support improvements to billing processes and timelines
General Support
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations
Support ad-hoc finance and administrative projects as needed
1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable in a professional services environment
Proficient in Excel; familiarity with accounting or billing systems is an asset
Proactive, reliable, and takes ownership of work
