As an Account Manager at Digitail, you will own and grow relationships with our largest veterinary clinic groups after the sale. You will guide the onboarding of initial clinics, coordinate the rollout of subsequent locations, and act as the primary relationship owner for multi-location organizations. Your focus will be driving adoption, operational alignment, expansion opportunities, and long-term partnership across the Digitail platform.
This role requires approximately 20%-25% travel across North America for customer visits, onsite implementations, and industry conferences.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive sponsors, operators, and clinic leaders across multi-location veterinary groups
Own the customer lifecycle from onboarding through long-term account management, retention, and expansion
Lead onboarding efforts for initial clinic locations and coordinate the rollout of additional sites over time
Partner closely with the Onboarding team to ensure successful launches aligned with Digitail best practices and operational workflows
Drive platform adoption and usage by helping customers optimize workflows and leverage new features
Identify and lead expansion opportunities, including additional clinic locations, add-on products, and broader platform adoption
Develop and execute strategic account plans, including rollout schedules, engagement strategies, and executive business reviews
Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and usage reviews to ensure alignment, value realization, and long-term success
Serve as the escalation point for complex customer issues, collaborating with Support, Product, and Leadership teams as needed
Act as the voice of the customer internally, sharing feedback and insights that help shape product improvements and future roadmap decisions
Maintain accurate account documentation, rollout tracking, and customer engagement plans
Support commercial discussions, contract renewals, and multi-year agreement negotiations when required
Stay informed on veterinary industry trends and operational models to provide strategic guidance and consultation
You're a relationship-first Account Manager who thrives on building long-term partnerships and helping customers achieve meaningful business outcomes. You enjoy navigating complex stakeholder environments, managing strategic initiatives, and acting as a trusted advisor to your clients.
Experience in veterinary technology, veterinary SaaS, practice management software, customer success, onboarding, implementation, or account management
Deep understanding of veterinary clinic operations and workflows
Experience managing enterprise or multi-location customer accounts with multiple stakeholders
Experience coordinating onboarding, implementation, or rollout projects across multiple locations
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build credibility with both operational and executive-level contacts
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to identify operational challenges and translate them into actionable recommendations
Comfortable working cross-functionally with onboarding, support, product, and sales teams
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and clearly explain software workflows
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective when navigating complex customer situations
