PSC provides specialized, high-risk crane, rigging, and logistics services for hyperscaler data center builds, operating as a sub-contractor on active job sites. We're a union shop growing fast, and we hold aggressive project schedules without ever compromising on safety.
You'll lead PSC's crane and rigging scope for the construction of a warehouse on a hyperscaler data center site — planning and running the lifts and rigging operations that put the structure up safely, on schedule, and on budget. This is a hands-on construction leadership role, not a desk job: you own the work in the field.
Own PSC's crane and rigging scope for the warehouse build, from mobilization through completion.
Develop and approve lift plans, rigging procedures, and pick sequences for setting steel, precast, equipment, and oversized components.
Plan crane positioning, ground bearing, and rigging configurations with engineering; manage critical and engineered lifts.
Lead rigging crews, crane operators, and signal persons; assign the work and hold the crew to the plan.
Sequence crane picks and rigging operations against the overall construction schedule, and coordinate with the GC and other trades.
Own the budget, manpower, and equipment plan for the rigging scope; track cost and production.
Enforce safe rigging, lifting, and load-handling practices across the site.
Report progress, cost, and risk to project leadership.

Proven project management of long-term, complex construction schedules, with the ability to take control of a job site.
A working understanding of rigging and crane operations and lift planning.
Strong financial acumen (budgets, cost tracking) and the leadership to run a crew.
Comfort operating in a union shop.
Willingness and ability to be on-site full-time — these roles are not remote.
Data center build experience and/or a heavy crane & rigging background.
Knowledge of engineered/critical lift planning, rigging hardware inspection, and OSHA/ASME rigging standards.
Strong PMs from adjacent industries (industrial or commercial construction) are encouraged to apply — we'll train the right leader on our technical processes.
Base salary: $150,000–$180,000
Annual bonus: ~5–10%
