Construction Manager - Salt Lake City - Oracle

We are sourcing a Construction Manager to oversee day-to-day field operations on Oracle’s hyperscale data center campus in Salt Lake City, UT. This role is responsible for managing trade contractors, maintaining schedule adherence, enforcing quality and safety standards, and coordinating closely with engineering and commissioning teams across active data hall construction. A minimum of 2 years of data center construction experience is required.
• Manage daily field construction activities across assigned data hall(s), ensuring work is executed per plan and specification
• Coordinate and direct MEP trade contractors (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection) through all phases from rough-in to energization and commissioning
• Monitor construction schedule progress, flag delays, and work with the Senior CM to implement recovery plans
• Enforce quality standards through structured QA/QC processes, including inspection hold points, pre-functional checklists, and punchlist resolution
• Maintain strict compliance with safety programs (OSHA, client-specific protocols, and site-specific safety plans); lead safety stand-downs and incident investigations as needed
• Run daily coordination meetings with trade foremen, subcontractor PMs, and client representatives
• Support RFI and submittal processes; document field conditions and escalate design conflicts to project leadership
• Coordinate with commissioning teams to ensure construction turnover packages are complete and systems are ready for functional testing
• Provide regular progress updates and daily reports to project leadership and client representatives
• Manage site logistics, laydown areas, and material staging to support uninterrupted workflow across concurrent data hall builds
• Minimum 2 years of data center construction experience — this is a mandatory requirement
• 5+ years of total construction management experience on commercial, industrial, or mission critical projects
• Direct experience managing MEP-heavy construction scopes (electrical distribution, mechanical cooling, generator/UPS systems)
• Proven ability to manage multiple trade contractors simultaneously on fast-track schedules
• Strong understanding of CSA/commissioning processes and construction-to-commissioning handoff protocols
• Proficiency with Procore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, and/or equivalent construction management tools
• OSHA 30 certification (required); additional safety certifications a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent field experience accepted
• Prior experience on Oracle, AWS, Microsoft, or Meta hyperscale data center programs
• Experience with critical facility commissioning and energization sequences
• Familiarity with design-build and fast-track delivery methods in mission critical environments
• Working toward PMP, CCM, or LEED certification
• Experience working in a GC or owner’s representative capacity on programs exceeding $500M
