Title: EH&S Consultant – Hyperscale Data Center Construction (Salt Lake City, UT)
Location: Salt Lake City, UT area (on-site, full time)
 Contract Length: 12+ months
 Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday–Saturday
 Start Date: ASAP
Overview:
 TALNT Team is seeking an experienced EH&S Consultant to support a hyperscale data center construction project in the Salt Lake City area. This is a long-term, on-site contract role requiring a hands-on safety professional comfortable in a fast-paced, high-tempo construction environment.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits across active construction areas

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local EH&S regulations

• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and incident investigations

• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and enforce site safety plans

• Maintain safety documentation, incident reports, and corrective action tracking

• Coordinate with site superintendents and project management on safety planning

• Support permit-required activities (hot work, confined space, lockout/tagout, etc.)

• Promote a proactive safety culture across all trades on site

Qualifications:

• 5+ years EH&S experience in industrial or heavy commercial construction; data center experience strongly preferred

• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500/CHST preferred

• Working knowledge of NFPA, NEC, and applicable state EH&S regulations

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 6 days/week, on-site full time
