Commercial Litigation Associate / Business Litigation Attorney

A sophisticated litigation firm is seeking a 4-6 year associate to join its Commercial Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles. This is an opportunity to independently manage significant aspects of complex business litigation matters in state and federal courts, with direct and regular interaction with partners and clients from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

• Developing and executing case strategy for complex business litigation matters

• Managing all phases of written and document discovery

• Researching and drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and other court filings

• Conducting and defending depositions and preparing witnesses for testimony

• Appearing for status conferences, hearings, and arguing motions in state and federal court

• Coordinating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and case team members

About You

• 4-6 years of substantial experience handling complex business litigation matters

• Active member in good standing of the California Bar

• Persuasive legal writer and oral advocate with top academic credentials

• Experience independently managing significant aspects of litigation matters

• Participation in settlement conferences and significant trial preparation experience preferred
