VP of Growth

About the Company

Our client is a bootstrapped, high-eight-figure men's telehealth brand selling compounded prescription products, including ED, peptides, and hormone optimization, directly to consumers. Scaled primarily through Meta paid social, the business relies on a horizontal, sprint-based creative architecture and a subscription model supporting tens of thousands of active subscribers. Unlike traditional DTC brands with standard payment carts, the custom funnel guides consumers through a medical questionnaire, physician consult, prescription approval, and recurring subscription.

Role Overview

This is a remote VP of Growth role. This person will own the end-to-end performance engine as an 80/20 player and operator reporting directly to the founder. They will take direct accountability for acquisition math by systematically diagnosing CAC across six core funnel stages: CPM, CTR, add-to-cart, reach-checkout, checkout-close, and new-customer share. In addition to directing paid social creative and landing page conversion loops through the design and engineering partners, this person will build and manage the lifecycle channels across email and SMS. This seat is built for a hands-on operator who thrives inside the ad account and drives growth through diagnostic rigor rather than hands-off management.

Responsibilities

- Funnel Diagnostics: Isolate and rank binding constraints across all six funnel stages weekly, directing focus toward the specific stage adding the highest dollar cost to overall CAC.

- Meta Account Operation: Manage paid social spend directly, maintaining media auction efficiency, identifying platform-level CPM shifts, and scaling winning ad sets.

- Creative Pipeline Direction: Brief creative directors, video editors, and agency partners to produce static and video assets, analyzing performance drivers to feed winning hooks forward.

- Conversion Rate Optimization: Own the landing page testing roadmap by collaborating with in-house developers to hypothesis-test, build, and iterate multi-step telehealth intake funnels.

- Lifecycle Channel Architecture: Build and execute email and SMS retention programs across abandoned intake recovery, post-purchase cross-sell flows, and reason-based winback sequences.

- Compliance Management: Ensure all lifecycle copy and advertising materials strictly adhere to medical compliance standards and risk-reversal guidelines.

Who They're Looking For

- Proven performance marketing operator with direct hands-on experience managing Meta acquisition accounts and scaling multi-million dollar DTC budgets.

- Metric-driven strategist capable of breaking down CAC into underlying funnel stages and prioritizing tests based on dollar-impact efficiency.

- Experienced supervisor of creative and development loops who can direct agencies, editors, and engineers to ship assets and CRO tests efficiently.

- Skilled lifecycle manager with a track record of building targeted email and SMS automation flows for abandoners, active subscribers, and lapsed customers.

- Financially disciplined operator versed in contribution margin, customer lifetime value, payback periods, and subscription unit economics.

- Self-sufficient operator who prefers working inside campaign managers and diagnostic tools over attending high-level status meetings.

This role is ideal for a hungry Director of Performance Marketing stepping into their first VP role, or an experienced VP who refuses to step away from the account and wants total ownership over growth execution.
