Performance Marketing Manager

About the Company
Our client is a digital marketing and analytics agency that helps ecommerce brands scale profitably. The agency leads with data first, building the analytical foundation that makes every paid marketing decision sharper, then layering on the creative and channel expertise to execute against it. The team is small, hands on, and genuinely invested in each other's growth alongside the brands supported.

Role Overview
This is a remote (US, Eastern time zone required) Performance Marketing Manager role. This person will own paid strategy for a portfolio of ecommerce brands, working directly with founders, CEOs, and VPs of Marketing to turn ad spend into profitable growth. They will build media plans and forecasts and manage six figure monthly budgets across Meta, TikTok, Google, Bing, and Criteo, all while acting as the trusted day to day partner clients rely on to make sense of their numbers. This is a heavily client facing seat, building real relationships, translating performance data into clear next steps, and bringing a sales minded instinct to keeping clients bought into where their marketing is headed.

Responsibilities
- Paid strategy and execution: Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, Bing, and Criteo, managing hundreds of thousands of dollars in monthly ad spend.
- Media planning and forecasting: Build media plans, creative briefs, and forecasts that turn strategy into a clear roadmap clients can act on.
- Client partnership: Own the relationship with a portfolio of clients, setting weekly and monthly expectations and keeping them excited about where their marketing is headed.
- Data driven optimization: Use the agency's proprietary dashboard to analyze performance, pull actionable insights, and make the budgeting calls that scale campaigns profitably.
- Analytical deep dives: Run ad hoc projects like creative audits, audience analysis, attribution modeling, and incrementality testing to answer questions campaign data alone can't.
- Testing and iteration: Treat every campaign as a hypothesis, running structured tests to find what actually moves performance and scaling what works.

Who They're Looking For
- 2 to 5 years of digital marketing experience working on businesses generating $1M to $100M in annual revenue.
- Agency background, with the project and time management instincts that come from juggling four or five client accounts at once.
- Hands on experience running paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok, and Google.
- A clear communicator who can turn dense data into takeaways any stakeholder can act on, delivered with empathy and encouragement.
- Comfortable living in the data, building out Google Sheets, and knowing when to dig deeper before making a call.
- Self directed and accountable, someone who takes ownership of problems and doesn't need much hand holding to work through something new.
- Organized enough to manage multiple clients and deadlines at once, ideally with experience in Asana or a similar tool.
- Genuinely curious, always looking for a better process or a sharper strategy, and happy to share it with the team.
