Workflow Automation Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing SaaS company building an operational platform for telecom and connectivity providers across North America.

Their platform helps service providers streamline billing, operations, provisioning, and workflow automation through modern infrastructure and developer-friendly tooling.

We’re looking for a Workflow Automation Engineer to join the team! You’ll build and maintain scalable operational workflows that power customer provisioning and telecom operations, working closely with both customer-facing teams and engineering.

What you’ll do:

Build and deploy production-grade workflow automations using internal workflow tooling and SDKs
Translate customer requirements into scalable, maintainable workflow implementations
Develop orchestration logic including retries, fallbacks, conditions, and parallel execution
Write TypeScript/JavaScript logic for workflow customization, validation, and integrations
Troubleshoot production workflows and improve reliability through monitoring and iteration
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering and Customer Solutions teams to deliver scalable customer outcomes

What we’re looking for:

3+ years of experience in software engineering, workflow automation, or related technical roles
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals
Experience building automation systems, orchestration tools, or integration workflows
Ability to turn ambiguous operational requirements into reliable technical solutions
Strong communication skills with comfort working in customer-facing environments
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced startup settings

Nice to have:

Experience in telecom, OSS/BSS, or infrastructure-related environments
Exposure to workflow engines, integration pipelines, or event-driven systems
Experience supporting customer implementations or technical delivery

Compensation:

CAD/USD $100K–$150K + equity + benefits
