    The Role

Lead the full lifecycle of enterprise retail partnerships for a rapidly scaling, AI-powered commerce platform. Own strategy, outreach, dealmaking, and joint go-to-market planning with major U.S. and European retailers. Partner closely with analytics, insights, product, and retail media teams to build data-driven solutions that drive incremental revenue for both retailers and brands.

    What You’ll Do

    • Identify, qualify, and engage retail partners by diagnosing pain points and mapping high-value data, media, and omnichannel opportunities.

    • Build executive-level relationships and lead the full deal cycle from strategy through close.

    • Co-develop automated workflows leveraging content, sales, and media data to benefit merchants and brands.

    • Translate shopper, loyalty, and media insights into commercial recommendations for merchandising, marketing, and category teams.

    • Collaborate with product, data science, and client services to shape data and analytics solutions that meet retailer goals.

    • Negotiate commercial agreements, drive revenue, and oversee partnership execution.

    • Lead business reviews and deliver insight-driven narratives to influence senior retail stakeholders.

    • Develop strategic account plans and guide a small cross-functional team through execution.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred.

    • 10–12+ years in retailer business development, retail analytics, shopper insights, or commercial partnerships (backgrounds from top analytics, consultancy, or shopper marketing groups strongly preferred).

    • Proven track record opening doors and closing enterprise retail partnerships.

    • Deep understanding of retail ecosystems—loyalty data, in-store activations, retail media, and omnichannel measurement.

    • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to convert insights into commercial narratives.

    • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

    • Entrepreneurial, results-oriented, and able to influence at senior levels across retail and CPG.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with major retail media networks.

    • Familiarity with clean rooms or data collaboration environments.

    • Background leading insight-to-activation projects across in-store/digital.

    • Experience mentoring teams focused on retail partnerships or insights.

    • Exposure to modern analytics/visualization tools.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Base salary: $191,000–$262,000 (levelled by experience & location)

    • Equity + discretionary bonus

    • Medical, dental, vision

    • 401(k)

    • Life & disability insurance

    • Paid parental leave

    • Monthly reimbursements (gym, phone, internet)

    • 10+ company holidays + unlimited PTO
