The Senior Platform Engineer, Infrastructure will design, build, and evolve the cloud infrastructure and internal developer platform powering the company’s financial products. This role blends platform engineering, DevOps, and software development, with a strong emphasis on automation, reliability, security, and enabling engineers to ship high-quality software quickly.
You’ll help architect event-driven systems, streamline developer workflows, and ensure the platform is scalable, resilient, and secure.
Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure, including ECS, EKS, and RDS.
Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability through monitoring, tuning, and continuous improvements.
Implement and enforce cloud and container security best practices.
Ensure alignment with AWS Well-Architected Framework.
Build and maintain a world-class Internal Developer Platform (IDP) that empowers engineers with self-service tooling and standardized workflows.
Improve CI/CD systems to increase delivery speed, stability, and developer efficiency.
Advocate for platform tooling and partner closely with engineering teams to drive adoption.
Design and implement platform services, libraries, and frameworks supporting an event-driven architecture.
Embed platform and security best practices directly into development processes.
Participate in architecture reviews to ensure scalability, resilience, and security.
Write clean, testable code in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat modeling.
Develop cloud security policies and contribute to incident response processes.
Support compliance initiatives, including PCI-DSS 4.0 and SOC2.
Champion automation, observability, and continuous improvement.
Stay current with advancements in AWS, developer experience tooling, and event-driven systems.

Strong expertise in AWS (ECS/EKS, RDS) and IaC (Terraform or Pulumi).
Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript and experience building services or tooling used by other engineers.
Experience contributing to an Internal Developer Platform or similar developer experience initiatives.
Deep knowledge of CI/CD, observability, and automation.
Understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
