Salesforce Administrator
Winnipeg, MB
$60,000 - $90,000
Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed tech startup based in Winnipeg — a Y Combinator alumni and one of the fastest-growing companies in Canada. They've built proprietary AI and computer vision technology that watches live TV and delivers contextually-aware content, commercials, and games to bars and restaurants across North America. Their tech also automates the day-to-day AV management tasks that venues deal with manually, making operations easier, standardized, and more profitable. The team is ~80–90 people in Winnipeg and scaling quickly.
The role
You'll be the go-to person for Salesforce — the one who keeps the CRM clean, scalable, and actually useful. This is a primarily admin-focused role, but if you have development experience (Apex, LWC), there's room to use it. You'll work closely with Sales, Ops, and Leadership to turn "we need Salesforce to do X" into something real and reliable.
Small team, high ownership, real visibility. This isn't a support ticket queue — you'll be shaping how the business sells and operates.
What you'll do
Own day-to-day Salesforce administration — users, roles, permissions, profiles, security
Build and maintain automations (Flows, validation rules, approval processes)
Customize objects, fields, and page layouts to match how the team actually sells and operates
Improve data quality (dedupe, validation, process hygiene) and create scalable conventions
Build dashboards and reporting the team actually uses
Manage integrations and tools around Salesforce; troubleshoot issues
Document processes and train teammates so Salesforce stays easy and consistent
Contribute light dev work (Apex, LWC, triggers) or partner with developers on complex builds
What we're looking for
3–5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model concepts (objects, relationships, record types)
Strong experience building automations with Flow — and knowing when not to automate
Comfortable supporting end users and translating business needs into Salesforce changes
High attention to detail — you care about data quality and sustainable systems
Startup mentality: proactive, accountable, comfortable wearing multiple hats
Nice to haves
Salesforce development experience (Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components)
Experience with Salesforce add-ons (CPQ, Pardot / Marketing Cloud Account Engagement)
RevOps / SalesOps best practices experience
Experience with integrations (Zapier/Make, API-based tools) and basic data pipelines
Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, etc.)
Perks

100% employer-covered health benefits
Flex-time & unlimited vacation
