Sales Engineer

We’re partnered with a fast-growing AI and data engineering company transforming how enterprises modernize their infrastructure — to help them hire a Sales Engineer who will play a key role in positioning, demonstrating, and driving adoption of their flagship data platform, NX1.
In this role, you’ll operate at the intersection of technical solution architecture and customer engagement. You’ll support enterprise sales cycles, lead proofs-of-concept, articulate modernization pathways, and help clients translate complex data capabilities into clear business outcomes. Working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Product, you’ll influence both how customers adopt NX1 and how the platform evolves.

8+ years in Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, or Pre-Sales roles supporting enterprise clients
3+ years as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant within SaaS, cloud, or data platforms
Strong ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders
Deep experience with modern data technologies (Spark, Iceberg, Databricks, Kafka, MLFlow, etc.)
Hands-on cloud expertise across AWS, Azure, or GCP
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and automation frameworks
Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, Go, or SQL
Excellent presentation and demo skills
Ability to travel occasionally for customer engagements, conferences, and team sessions
