Head of Product

Our client is a deep tech company at the forefront of quantum computing, building one of the leading open-source frameworks used by researchers and developers globally.

They’re at a pivotal moment—evolving from a widely adopted open-source tool into a scalable, enterprise-grade product.

We’re looking for a Head of Product to join the team! You’ll be the first true product leader, owning the product function end-to-end and guiding the transition from open-source adoption to enterprise monetization.

What you’ll do:

Own product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle across a complex, technical platform
Lead and restructure a ~15-person product team, building strong product practices
Drive the transition from free/open-source to paid enterprise offerings
Partner with research, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver market-ready solutions
Shape positioning, packaging, and overall product direction

What we’re looking for:

Proven experience leading free → paid or freemium → enterprise transitions
Strong background in deep tech, developer tools, or technical/scientific products
Track record of building 0→1 product strategy and scaling product organizations
Experience managing and evolving product teams
Comfort operating in highly technical, research-driven environments

Nice to have:

Experience with open-source products or communities
Background in data infrastructure, MLOps, or scientific SaaS
Founder or GM-style experience (owning strategy beyond product)
Customer-facing experience with enterprise or R&D buyers
