About the Role
As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will be a key member of the executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the President, you will define and execute a unified marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This is a hands-on, strategic role requiring a leader who blends innovation with marketing excellence.
What you'll be doing:
Build the Marketing Function: Design and implement a high-impact, data-driven marketing strategy from the ground up, aligned with business objectives and organizational priorities.
Strategic Leadership: Lead all multi-channel marketing initiatives. Set the vision for reaching target audiences, driving lead generation, and improving customer acquisition and retention. Build and mentor a high-performing marketing leadership team, fostering creativity and excellence.
Executive Brand Strategy: Oversee brand management and provide strategic direction for brand positioning. Act as a key brand ambassador and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Data-Driven Decisions: Champion a data-driven marketing culture. Use market and customer insights to inform strategic decisions, optimize marketing investments, and deliver measurable business results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary marketing liaison on the executive team. Collaborate with product, sales, and other senior leaders to align marketing strategy with business objectives and go-to-market plans.
Public Relations and Communications: Act as a spokesperson and build relationships with media and industry stakeholders to shape the brand narrative and secure positive coverage.
Who we're looking for:
Proven success in fast-paced, collaborative environments, managing multiple priorities with ease.
Experience: 15+ years in strategic marketing leadership, including 10+ years in senior leadership roles. Experience in FinTech or high-growth tech industries is highly desirable.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Strategic & Analytical Skills: Strong diagnostic abilities and a data-driven mindset, translating market insights into actionable strategies with measurable business impact.
Leadership & Influence: Exceptional leader capable of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve ambitious goals. Ability to build trust and influence across the organization.
Adaptability: Flexible, resilient, and able to thrive in dynamic environments with shifting priorities.
