Bilingual Quality Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to play a key role within a high-growth, technology-driven manufacturing environment. This individual will support both day-to-day quality operations and longer-term quality strategy, helping to ensure product excellence, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the organization.
This is a hands-on role suited for someone with strong technical expertise who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-precision environment, with the opportunity to expand scope and influence over time.
Quality Operations
Manage incoming and final product inspection processes
Prepare and track non-conformance reports (NCRs)
Oversee RMAs and support resolution workflows
Monitor and optimize calibration and maintenance of production and measurement equipment
Support development and continuous improvement of operating procedures and production documentation
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
Collect, analyze, and report on key quality metrics (yield, on-time delivery, PPM, cost of quality, etc.)
Conduct process audits and support internal quality initiatives
Contribute to FMEA development and risk mitigation activities
Implement and manage SPC (Statistical Process Control) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) on key processes
Support the ongoing development and execution of the company’s quality program
Supplier & Customer Quality
Participate in supplier quality assessments and audits
Support customer quality reviews and audit preparation
Ensure alignment with customer quality requirements and standards
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with technical, engineering, and production teams to resolve quality issues
Provide technical input across testing, measurement, and manufacturing processes as needed
Act as a key contributor to a culture of quality and continuous improvement
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in quality engineering or quality assurance
Strong understanding of quality systems, audits, and manufacturing processes
Experience with quality tools such as SPC, MSA, and FMEA
Bilingual (French & English), both written and spoken
Strong organizational skills with the ability to operate independently
Nice to Have
Experience in photonics, optoelectronics, or other high-tech manufacturing environments
Familiarity with precision manufacturing, testing, or advanced materials
