Founding Sales Engineer — Agentic AI for Regulated Finance
New York, NY | Hybrid (3–4 days in office / on client site) | Full-Time

This Is the One You'll Tell Stories About
You know the feeling. You're three years into a role, the demo environment is polished, the objection library is laminated, and someone else already figured out what "good" looks like. You're executing, not building. You're good at it — but it's not the same thing.
This is the other kind of opportunity.
We are looking for a Founding Sales Engineer to join one of the most talked-about AI infrastructure companies to emerge from financial services in years. Seed-funded, already profitable, already in production at institutions managing over $1 trillion in assets — and now building the commercial function that will take this to scale.
You won't inherit a playbook. You'll write it.

Why Right Now Matters
The timing here is real. $10m+ in revenue and just closing their A round backed by some of the most credible names in AI and fintech — including angel investors who are literal architects of modern machine learning and a lead institutional investor with deep financial services operating experience. The founding team comes from the highest levels of AI leadership at JPMorgan Chase, Google, and Silver Lake.
They are not pitching a vision. They are in production. They are profitable. And they are at the inflection point where the commercial motion needs to be built — properly, by someone who knows what they're doing.
That's the window. It won't be open long.

What This Company Does (And Why It's Different)
The AI space has made a lot of promises to regulated financial institutions. Most of them haven't landed — because compliance, auditability, and governance aren't afterthoughts you can bolt on.
This platform was built from the inside out for exactly that constraint. It deploys agentic AI workforces — not generic models, not off-the-shelf automation — trained on how a specific firm actually operates: its workflows, its edge cases, its regulatory framework. Every agent runs inside the client's own cloud environment. The client owns the model, the IP, and the audit trail.
Outputs are traceable. Reversible. Defensible to a regulator.
The platform is already reshaping critical workflows across insurance, private credit, private equity, and commercial lending. This isn't a proof of concept. It's in production, at scale, at institutions that don't take chances.

The Role: Founding Sales Engineer
You are the first. That means two things simultaneously: you carry the function while you build it. If that sentence makes you nervous, this probably isn't your role. If it makes you lean forward — read on.
You will be the technical partner to Client Partners and Account Executives across the full sales cycle. Discovery. Demo. Architecture review. Security review. Workflow scoping. Handoff to delivery. You translate in both directions — turning a client's operational problem into something engineering can scope, and turning what's been built into something a business buyer can act on.
The Two Audiences You'll Own
The business buyer — a claims operations leader, a head of financial planning, a VP of credit operations. They need to see their workflow, their exception cases, their audit trail. Not a model architecture diagram. You know how to make the abstract concrete and the technical commercial.
The technical buyer — a CIO, a model risk committee, an InfoSec team. They will ask hard questions about data lineage, human-in-the-loop controls, deterministic guardrails, and failure modes. You hold your own in that room without flinching.
Doing both well, in the same deal, is the job.

What You'll Own
🔍 Technical Discovery
Go beneath the stated requirement. Find the actual workflow, the exception paths, and where the current process breaks. Surface what the client hasn't articulated yet.
🎯 The Business-Buyer Demo
Own the flow, the narrative, and the data — including the Context Studio story. Tie every demo to tangible commercial
